SSE Connects with ACE!

19 Oct

On Saturday, October 16th, five Students for Environmental Action students had the opportunity to attend the Alliance for Climate Education (ACE)’s Student Leadership Training!  It was held at Solar One, the only completely solar-powered building in New York City!  We were able to connect with students from all over the NY/NJ area and learn about the inspirational projects they have all been involved with.  The day consisted of training in leadership skills, learning how to build a project and familiarizing ourselves with the ACE network.  We discovered that there are so many others who are just as passionate as we are in protecting our environment against climate change.  That truly shows the power behind the numbers!

In addition, we were able to introduce the Students Saving Energy project to others, garnering tons of interest!  Now, we’re proud to have the participation of more schools from NYC!
