Our Partners

Here are Students Saving Energy’s major organizational supporters.  Without their help, we wouldn’t have been able to make it this far!

The New Jersey Sierra Club

http://newjersey.sierraclub.org/

“The Sierra Club is a national, member-supported environmental organization, which seeks to influence public policy in both Washington and the state capitals through public education and grass-roots political action.”  With about 20,000 members, the New Jersey Chapter is the 10th largest chapter of the Sierra club.

Students Saving Energy is working with the NJ Sierra Club to boost student involvement in other Sierra communities.  We are working to extend our resources by working with more renown organizations like the Sierra Club.  Anyone and everyone who is part of the SSE network should get involved with the NJ Sierra club chapter or a local Sierra group! Go on an outing…organize an event…the possibilities are endless.  It’s important to make use of the resources around you– the Sierra Club gives you the perfect opportunity for that!

Alliance for Climate Education (ACE)

www.acespace.org

“Our mission is to educate high school students on the science behind climate change and inspire them to take action to curb the causes of global warming.”

The Alliance for Climate Education has been a vital contributor to many of the projects SSE has undertaken.  From visiting our school to give assemblies to helping us implement the DOT (Do One Thing) project, they have provided so much assistance and resources.  ACE would be a great place to start off your first initiative!
